Published on the occasion of the exhibition 'Printed Response' at Platform A gallery, Middlesbrough, UK.
 
The artist was commissioned by Platform A to produce an edition of prints in response to a work in the Durham University Art Collection. Kennedy chose to respond to Colourful Machine by Eduardo Paolozzi, which was included in the group exhibition alongside artists Annie O’Donnell, Tony Charles, Emma Bennett, Rachael Clewlow and Francesca Simon. Works from the collection by Elizabeth Frink, John Piper, Terry Frost, Edward Bawden, and Josef Albers were also included.
